The business had previously been run under management and offers a great opportunity for the new tenant, John Lockhart, to further develop the potential of the business.

Situated along the stunning North Coast 500 route, the traditional detached property is ideally placed to further establish itself as a destination venue for a large catchment area. The pub has recently been refurbished to a high standard and offers a 42-cover restaurant and public bar, together with five en-suite letting rooms. There is also a beer garden located to the rear of the property as well as a private car park with space for 20 vehicles. Within the attic level of the property is a three-bedroom manager/owner’s apartment.

Tony Spence, Licensed Negotiator at Christie & Co handled the leasehold sale and comments, “Previously run under management, there is significant potential for John to firmly establish the business.  There is no immediate or local competition and the new owner will be able to build on its growing reputation for good food and high service levels.”

The Allangrange Arms was sold on a leasehold basis off an asking price of £25,000.
