Isle of Skye hotel sold to local operator

​The Ardvasar Hotel, a 3-star hotel on the south of the Isle of Skye has been sold through specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co.

The 10-bedroom hotel which has stunning views over the Sound of Sleat has been bought by an experienced local operator.

One of the oldest hotels on Skye with a popular restaurant inside, the business was put on the market following previous owner’s decision to retire after 40 years in the hospitality industry.



Stuart Drysdale, Associate Director at Christie & Co comments, “This is a very profitable hotel with a strong turnover and we are sure that the new owners will continue the business’s success. We wish them all the luck for the future.”

The Ardvasar was sold off an asking price of £825,000.
