Kirkcudbright Bay Hotel for sale through Christie & Co

Specialist property adviser, Christie & Co has been instructed to sell the Kirkcudbright Bay Hotel, situated in picturesque village of Kirkcudbright in the Dumfries and Galloway region.

The area is extremely popular on a year round basis with outdoor enthusiasts including walkers, golfers and cyclists. The property is less than two hours drive from the major cities of Glasgow, Edinburgh and Newcastle.

The small village hotel is currently family owned and operated and is well established in the centre of the community. The hotel has built up a superb reputation locally and from visitors due to the high quality of service and produce, with advance bookings required for the popular conservatory restaurant.

The hotel includes a reception area, lounge bar, restaurant and fully fitted commercial kitchen at ground floor level. There are a total of nine letting bedrooms, however only three are currently in use.

Stuart Drysdale, Associate Director in Christie & Co’s Edinburgh office comments; “The Kirkcudbright Bay Hotel represents a rare opportunity for first time buyers or experienced operators to take on a well positioned and popular small hotel, with multiple income streams.  With only a few letting rooms currently being utilised there is promising scope to increase the bedroom accommodation allowing for potential redevelopment and an uplift in accommodation sales.”

Christie & Co is seeking an asking price of £375,000 for the freehold.
