Former Hampshire care home sold to specialist care operator, Bramley Health
Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co, has completed on the sale of the former Fieldgate House nursing home in Horndean, Hampshire, to specialist operator, Bramley Health.
Fieldgate House nursing home – a 25-bedroom nursing home registered for 29 service users - closed in September 2020 as the owning company, Extraservices Ltd, went into Administration. The property is located in a plot of just under one acre in a mainly residential area of Horndean, Hampshire.
Quantuma Advisory Ltd was appointed as Administrators of Extraservice Ltd and instructed Christie & Co to market the property on its behalf. An initial marketing campaign resulted in a high level of early interest with offers in excess of the asking price being received.
The property has been purchased by specialist health and social care provider, Bramley Health. Speaking on behalf of the company, Chairman, Mr Gordon Phillips, comments, “This is an ideal purchase for our company. We are a specialist Health and Social Care provider based in the South of England and our key focus is to support individuals with complex and challenging needs to maximise their independence and to live a meaningful and fulfilling life. After some internal alterations, we plan to reopen the property as a specialist care facility.”
