Criteria to apply

  • Valuer roles require RICS membership and either a Valuer Registration Scheme licence or APC Level 3 Valuation.
  • Trainee valuer roles ideally require an RICS-accredited degree to commence RICS Assessment of Professional Competence (APC).
  • Business Agent, Chartered Valuation Surveyors and Consultancy roles ideally require professional experience within an Agency/ Brokerage, Trading Valuations, or Consultancy company.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Outcome orientated, dynamic and self driven

What is the APC Qualification?

For graduates wishing to become an RICS qualified valuation surveyor, you will normally undertake the RICS APC which is sponsored by Christie & Co. This usually takes 24 months via the “Commercial Real Estate” pathway.

Expected Activities

  • Shadowing
  • Completing practical training.
  • Building relationships and interacting with clients.
  • Inspecting and measuring properties.
  • Analysing businesses.
  • Gaining solid experience across all competencies with an emphasis on valuation.

During the APC qualification we can offer

Future Group
The group was established in September 2017, and operates as a junior board for Christie & Co, Christie Finance and Christie Insurance . The group provides employees across different sectors, roles and teams the opportunity to create and contribute into initiatives, ensuring we are a great place to work Some initiatives Future Group have successfully implemented include:

  • Seminar series- webinars presented by guest speakers such as Professor Treiblmaier, Chris Dawson on sector related topics and upskilling our employees.
