The properties include the Beresford Hotel in Newquay, Cornwall; the Valley Of Rocks Hotel in Lynton, North Devon; and the Carlton Hotel in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.

The Beresford, a superb 103-bedroom seafront hotel in Newquay, boasts stunning views over Tolcarne Beach and the Atlantic Ocean. Guests can enjoy an all-day restaurant, a ballroom, and a conservatory with breathtaking ocean vistas.

The Valley of Rocks Hotel, a charming 68-bedroom Grade II listed property, is perched on a clifftop in Lynton. The hotel offers guests the unique experience of descending to the town and its beaches via the historic Cliff Railway funicular train, established in 1890.

The Carlton Hotel, situated in the quintessential English seaside town of Great Yarmouth, features 97 bedrooms just metres from the Pleasure Beach. The hotel is renowned for its lively entertainment program during the holiday season and its proximity to the town's piers, amusement parks, and vibrant nightlife.

The deal was brokered through Stephen Champion and Simon Jackaman, two of Christie & Co’s regional hotel experts.

Stephen Champion, Director – Hotels South West comments, “The sale of these three coastal hotels to the expanding HS Hotels group demonstrates the continued demand we are witnessing for hotels across the UK and in particular, the continued buyer appetite and confidence in the South West tourism industry. We wish the new owners every success with their latest acquisitions.”

Simon Jackaman, Director – Hotels East Anglia adds, “Whilst the market is still feeling the effects of high interest rates, utility and staff costs, there remains good levels of demand for coastal, city and town locations across the South. Buyers continue to seek opportunities to invest cash or take on manageable debt, making it a good time for owners to explore their options for selling.”

“The hotels are three of the 33-assets that we are currently marketing as part of the Coast & Country portfolio. The hotels have received very strong interest to date, and a very limited number of these assets remain available. We invite any interested parties to get in touch.”
