The 0.23 acre site, located on Burley Road in the picturesque village of Bransgore on the edge of the New Forest National Park, was granted planning permission for a nursery in 2009, but due to a change in circumstances, the landowners were unable to proceed with the development and are now looking to sell the site on a freehold basis.

The existing plans for the site provides day care accommodation over two floors to include a large open-plan toddler & pre-school room, a sleep room, a baby sleep and baby play room, as well as reception, office and meeting room space.

Corrina Jones, Business Agent at Christie & Co is handling the sale of the site and said, “Our clients have owned the site for over seven years and applied for planning consent for a purpose built children's day nursery in 2009 with the intention of building the nursery for their family to run and manage on a day-to-day basis. Due to a change in personal circumstances the site has not been developed but planning permission was granted for a nursery with places for over 40 children and the foundations have been laid in preparation for the development.

“The site is located on the edge of the New Forest National Park in a high value prestigious residential area.  The surrounding environment of ancient and ornamental woodland, provides a perfect setting to maximise the outside space and potentially create a forest school setting which is a provision highly regarded by professional parents and a unique selling point.”

Offers are invited for the freehold of the Burley Road site.
