New owners for Christchurch newsagents

Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co has brokered the sale of well established newsagents, Town Common News on the outskirts of the affluent town of Christchurch, Dorset.

Situated in a busy parade of shops, this well regarded independent store offers significant scope, having been comprehensively refurbished to a high specification by the former owners who ran the business successfully with a consistently steady turnover.

New owners, Cem Sipahi and Hakki Onat Onut are looking forward to taking the helm, increasing sales and diversifying the retail offering.

Tom Glanvill, Business Agent at Christie & Co comments, “We were delighted to have facilitated the transaction and wish Cem and Hakki every success in what I am sure will be a strong business for many years to come.

“This sale continues to demonstrate demand from buyers for good quality retail businesses in the South, with both investors and lifestyle purchasers showing interest in well run convenience businesses. We anticipate this demand to continue throughout 2018, making it a great time for retail business owners in the region who are considering a sale.”

Town Common News was sold off a leasehold guide price of £59,950.
