Oakwood Pharmacy in Leicestershire sold to first-time buyer trio

Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co, has announced the sale of Oakwood Pharmacy in North Leicestershire.

Oakwood Pharmacy is an independent NHS community pharmacy which dispenses an average of circa 4,500 items per month. The business itself comprises an open-plan retail area to the front with a purpose-built dispensary to the rear, as well as a Post Office counter and consultation room. It is located in the affluent village of Woodhouse Eaves in North Leicestershire, less than 10 miles from Leicester’s city centre.

The business was previously owned by Mr Taheri Master and was brought to market with the ambition to semi-retire. It has been purchased by Leicester-based first-time buyers, Mr Rhean and Mrs Mamta Joygopaul and Mr Rahul Pandya.

Carl Steer, Director at Christie & Co, who handled the sale, comments, “The sale attracted good levels of interest and multiple acceptable offers. Pharmacies across the whole county of Leicestershire are in-demand with our clients achieving strong sale prices as we see a dearth of pharmacies for sale and an increasing volume of buyers.”

Oakwood Pharmacy was sold leasehold for an undisclosed sum.
