The food-led pub has recently reopened to the public following a full refurbishment. It now includes five ensuite guest rooms with views over the nearby Loughor Estuary and a new owner has the potential to extend the premises subject to planning permission.

John Coggins of Christie & Co’s Cardiff office who is handling the sale comments, “The Railway Inn is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced operator to take advantage of a beautifully presented freehold pub in a stunning part of Wales.

“Opportunities such as this rarely come to the open market. With excellent links to the renowned Gower coast beaches and just a short distance from Swansea’s leisure and retail facilities, the inn gives any potential buyer the opportunity to create an attractive business for locals and tourists alike with a number of income streams.”

Christie & Co is seeking offers in the region of £495,000 for the freehold interest.
