The Two Brewers in Street sold to Heartstone Inns pub group

The Two Brewers in Street, Somerset has been sold in an off market deal to pub group Heartstone Inns through specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co. Street is well known for being the home of shopping outlet Clarkes Village and Millfield School, known for its sporting prowess having produced many international and Olympic athletes.

The Two Brewers had been under the ownership of Richard and Maggie Pearce for 23 years, they are now looking forward to retiring from the sector completely. Richard and Maggie were very proud of their pub, often describing The Two Brewers as having the ambience of a country inn despite occupying a community location.

James Birch of Heartstone Inns comments on the sale; “We are delighted to have added the charming and ideally located Two Brewers to the Heartstone Inns family of pubs.”

Nicholas Calfe, Director at Christie & Co's Bristol office who handled the sale comments; "I was thrilled to be able to help Richard and Maggie move into retirement. The demand for well trading pubs in ideal settings is particularly high in the South West at the moment. The sale of The Two Brewers represents this demand. I look forward to seeing how the inn develops and progresses in the future."
