On the first floor, a further 175 sq ft retail area is currently utilised as a DVD rental space and a one bedroom flat is currently let on a shorthold tenancy, generating additional income.

Officially opened by the Mayor of Mansfield, the successful shop caters to the local community and neighbouring villages and suburbs of Mansfield. The business is also frequented by Mansfield Town FC players and enjoys strong levels of passing trade due to the shop’s proximity to Centre Parcs.

The current owner has taken the decision to sell the business in order to relocate and comments, "I contacted Christie & Co about selling my store, as I had regularly received communication from them and could see the success they were having with selling stores similar to mine."

Stephen Bell, Senior Business Agent at Christie & Co is handling the sale and comments, "This business has provided a comfortable income for the current owners, and a new owner will benefit from a thriving business that still offers scope for further improvement. It's an exciting opportunity and we expect interest from both first time buyers and existing operators.

“The market for convenience stores in the East Midlands is very buoyant. We are seeing existing operators expanding their portfolios and first time buyers looking to get into the industry. Buyers from outside the region are also looking towards Nottinghamshire as they see a vibrant community and good value for a return on their investment.”

Christie & Co is seeking an asking price of £220,000 for the leasehold interest with an annual rent of £15,600.
