Darren joined Christie & Co in 2001 and, after working across the firm's Birmingham, Leeds and London offices, was appointed Global Managing Director in 2020. He leads Christie & Co's specialist advisory and brokerage business across the UK and Europe, with responsibility for the firm's strategic direction, commercial performance and long-term growth. Having previously held the positions of Managing Director - Capital Markets and Head of Valuation, Darren has extensive experience advising owners, operators, investors and lenders on operational real estate and trading businesses. Throughout his career, he has led numerous high-profile valuation, disposal and strategic advisory assignments across the healthcare, childcare, education, hospitality, leisure, retail and medical sectors. With over 25 years at Christie & Co, Darren combines deep sector knowledge with a strong focus on client service, professional excellence and the development of high-performing teams. Darren is a Chartered Surveyor (FRICS) and RICS Registered Valuer. He holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Urban Land Economics from Sheffield Hallam University and a postgraduate diploma in Organisational Leadership from the University of Oxford Saïd Business School, awarded with distinction.
