Since joining Christie & Co in 1991, Brian has exclusively worked in Scotland initially specialising within the Public House Sector before covering The Hospitality Sector including bars, restaurants, and hotels. Within his tenure at Christie & Co, Brian has sold hundreds of businesses across the Hospitality Sector both on an individual and portfolio asset basis. Dealing with operators on a local, regional, and national basis, Brian has also been heavily involved in advising banks and administrators within the distressed arena over the last 20 years. His specialist skills include defining client’s needs, providing strategic and brokerage advice as well as business sale and acquisition. Brian is respected within the industry especially among the many regional and national pub operators for his incisive views on market trends and the changes impacting these businesses. A former professional footballer, Brian continues to have a passion for all sports.
