What We Look For

At Christie & Co we offer many different career pathways and avenues. From graduate pathways to internships and in-house progression and career development opportunities.

  • Valuer roles require RICS membership and either a Valuer Registration Scheme licence or APC Level 3 Valuation.
  • Trainee valuer roles ideally require an RICS-accredited degree to commence RICS Assessment of Professional Competence (APC).
  • Business Agent, Chartered Valuation Surveyors and Consultancy roles ideally require professional experience within an Agency/ Brokerage, Trading Valuations, or Consultancy company.
  • All roles require strong verbal and written communication skill, as well as an outcome orientated, dynamic and self-driven personality.

What is the APC Qualification?

Graduates aiming to qualify as RICS valuation surveyors typically complete the RICS APC, sponsored by Christie & Co, over 24 months via the Commercial Real Estate pathway.

Expected Activities

  • Shadowing
  • Completing practical training.
  • Building relationships and interacting with clients.
  • Inspecting and measuring properties.
  • Analysing businesses.
  • Gaining solid experience across all competencies with an emphasis on valuation.

During the APC, we offer:

  • Paid study leave.
  • Paid RICS fees and training costs.
  • Time and support for the APC diary.
