Lukas Hochedlinger opened the Vienna office of Christie & Co in 2010 and has since been responsible for the successful development and expansion of the company in Austria as well as Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). Since 2017, he has also served as Managing Director of Christie & Co Central and Northern Europe, with additional responsibility for strengthening and expanding Christie & Co's presence in its core markets of Germany and Scandinavia. Before joining Christie & Co, he worked for KPMG CEE in Budapest within the Real Estate, Leisure & Tourism division. His responsibilities included both transaction-related activities and a wide range of advisory assignments, covering hotel and resort valuations, business plans, market analyses, feasibility studies, and investor and operator searches. Prior to that, Lukas worked as a Development Manager for the hotel operator RIMC in Hamburg, where he acquired extensive expertise in the German hotel market. He gained international experience in the hotel and leisure industry primarily across the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland), Central and Eastern Europe, as well as the Caribbean and the United States. Lukas holds a Magister degree in Tourism Management and Leisure Industry from IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems and a Master of Science in Real Estate from Danube University Krems. He is also a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and is registered as a RICS Registered Valuer. In addition, he is a regular speaker and guest lecturer at various conferences and universities.
