When did you join Christie & Co?
March 2024.
What was your first job?
I was a pot washer at the local pub when I was 13. A perk of the job was eating leftovers - not directly from the plates though.
In a couple of sentences, can you tell us a bit about your job at Christie & Co?
I work in the Christie & Co agency team in the Leisure sector, covering Wales, the Midlands, and the Southwest. It is quite a diverse sector, from caravan parks, yoga retreats, golf courses, theme parks, and much more.
What’s your favourite thing about Christie & Co?
The versatility and freedom that the job offers. You create your own diary and your own opportunities. It is what you make of it, and the sky is the limit.
What’s been the biggest challenge of your career so far?
The biggest challenge is client expectations within the challenging market.
Tell us a bit about your life outside work – what are your hobbies?
I play the piano and have two rabbits. I also love the theatre and trying new restaurants.
What’s your hometown? Where do you live now?
The rural town of Ludlow, Shropshire. After living in various parts of the country, I am now back in my hometown.
Where’s the best place you’ve been on holiday?
A Caribbean cruise. A floating hotel where you get to explore many different islands and everything they have to offer.
What’s your biggest pet peeve?
Bad manners - rudeness, table manners, arrogance etc.
What would be your desert island meal?
I couldn’t pick - to be honest, I like all the food. So it would have to be an around-the-world buffet where the best chef from each country makes the food to order.
What’s your favourite film?
The Shawshank Redemption.

To experience a miracle.

Not being afraid.
