When did you join Christie & Co?

January 2023.

What was your first job?

I worked as a barman in a pub just after leaving school.

In a couple of sentences, can you tell us a bit about your job at Christie & Co?

As a graduate, I assisted senior colleagues in providing valuation advice to clients for a number of different purposes. Now that I have qualified, I will be looking to continue providing valuation advice to clients across the hospitality, care and medical sectors.

What’s your favourite thing about Christie & Co?

I am able to inspect a wide range of property types and am able to meet a variety of different operators from across the UK.

What's a favourite project that you’ve worked on at Christie & Co so far?

The valuation of a large national sports venue in the UK.

What’s been the biggest challenge of your career so far?

My biggest challenge has been working to pass my APC!

What’s been a highlight of your career so far?

The biggest highlight of my career has been passing my APC and becoming a Chartered Surveyor, feels like a big achievement!

Tell us a bit about your life outside work – what are your hobbies?

I am really interested in sport and will watch any sport on TV.

What’s your hometown? Where do you live now?

I grew up in a small village in Hertfordshire, then spent seven years living in Manchester. I have now recently moved to Bristol for a new chapter.

Where’s the best place you’ve been on holiday?

The best place I have been on holiday is Bacalar in Mexico and would happily go back anytime!

If you could live and work in any city, where would you go?

Singapore.

What would be your desert island meal?

Fish and chips.

What’s your favourite film?

Dodgeball – a classic!

What is one thing on your bucket list?

To watch an ashes test match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).

What is your biggest fear?

Heights.
