When did you join Christie & Co?
I joined Christie & Co in February 2020.
Where were you when you accepted your role at Christie & Co?
At the Belfry Hotel, following a meeting with Lee Howard.
What was your first job?
I was a waiter at a restaurant called Pier 39. Despite the name, it was not in San Francisco, unfortunately!
In a couple of sentences, can you tell us a bit about your job at Christie & Co?
I work as an agent specialising in the sales and acquisitions of healthcare businesses across the West Midlands, working primarily with regional operators. I support them through key transactions, whether they’re expanding their portfolio or planning an exit.
What’s your favourite thing about Christie & Co?
The people. I’m lucky to work alongside colleagues who genuinely care about each other and our clients.
What’s been a highlight of your career so far?
I was promoted to Associate Director at Christie & Co. It’s a fantastic company to be part of, and I’m proud to hold this position.
Who in your industry do you feel most inspired by?
I’m always inspired by the care home staff I meet. Their dedication and compassion are incredible - it’s humbling to see how much they give to others every day.
Tell us a bit about your life outside work – what are your hobbies?
Running is a big part of my life. With the London Marathon approaching, I’m trying to keep running, which still feels like a hobby! I also enjoy playing golf, watching Aston Villa, and spending time with friends and family.
What’s your hometown? Where do you live now?
I’m originally from Sutton Coldfield and now I'm just a short distance away in Lichfield, Staffordshire.
Where’s the best place you’ve been on holiday?
Saint-Tropez! I would happily sip coffee, looking at the boats and people-watching all day!
What’s your biggest pet peeve?
Lateness. Time is one of the most valuable resources we have, and I always feel it should be respected, both yours and others.
If you could live and work in any city, where would you go?
San Sebastián. I would be there for the sunshine and the food, to be completely honest!
What would be your desert island meal?
If it involves cheese, I’m happy!
What is one thing on your bucket list?
To run all seven major marathons! Hopefully, London is just the start.
