Where were you when you accepted your role at Christie & Co?

In a café with my new boss-to-be!

What was your first job?

Working at a hairdresser's, sweeping hair and making cups of tea.

In a couple of sentences, can you tell us a bit about your job at Christie & Co?

I work within the Midlands care team, supporting the East Midlands and advising operators on selling their homes. This includes facilitating immediate sales as well as guiding them through longer-term exit strategies, which can sometimes involve acquisitions to expand their portfolio before sale.

What’s your favourite thing about Christie & Co?

The people, the ethos, and the feeling that you are part of a company and not just a number.

What's a favourite project that you’ve worked on at Christie & Co so far?

Project Oak was fantastic to work on. It allowed me to get to know operators from all over the country.

Who in your industry do you feel most inspired by?

My whole team inspire me! In the care team alone, there are currently over 400 combined years of experience, which is almost unheard of in this industry.

Tell us a bit about your life outside work – what are your hobbies?

I love spending time with my friends and family, especially my nieces and nephew. I am also a homebody at heart, so I love nothing more than snuggling up on the sofa with a lit candle and watching a movie with snacks.

What’s your hometown? Where do you live now?

Nottingham!

Where’s the best place you’ve been on holiday?

The Maldives - it was so beautiful.

What’s your biggest pet peeve?

Lateness, people's time is so valuable.

If you could live and work in any city, where would you go?

Dubai.

What would be your desert island meal?

Pho or steak with a side of mac & cheese!

What’s your favourite film?

I can’t pick one, but I love all the Harry Potter movies.

What is your favourite movie quote?

“Big mistake. Big. Huge!” – Pretty Woman

What is one thing on your bucket list?

I’d love to visit Japan someday.

What is your biggest fear?

Daddy long legs… they’re horrible!
