The Brief

Simon Thomas of Moorfields approached Christie & Co to provide advice on the best way to sell and maximise the value for Elliott House in Herne Bay, Kent, a vacant Grade 2 listed 62 bedroom former care home set in over 2 acres. 

Moorfields were looking for an agent to help them achieve interest from both care operators and residential developers and generate the best conditional offers for the property within a specific timescale.

The Results

Christie  & Co produced an information pack comprising a video tour, scale floor plans, internal and external details and sales particulars and contacted our database of buyers and also advertised the property to appeal to both care operators and residential developers.

Following a series of viewing days we generated a competitive bidding process which ensured best price was achieved. The successful bidder was a residential developer who paid in excess of the asking price.
