Roy Bridge Hotel

The Roy Bridge Hotel is a traditional coaching inn dating back to the 1850s and serves as a base for visitors exploring Lochaber and the Nevis Range. The hotel includes 15 thoughtfully decorated letting rooms, ten of which are en suite, as well as a bar and restaurant which can accommodate for around 50 seated.

Situated in the village of Roy Bridge, nestled deep in the North West Highlands of Scotland, the hotel is well placed to offer stays to those seeking outdoor adventures amidst stunning Scottish scenery, with the area a haven for activities such as canoeing, kayaking, hill-walking or mountain biking. The property also benefits from its proximity to Fort William and the Nevis Range Mountain Resort.

The hotel also features four recently developed accommodation lodges within the grounds, a large beer garden to the front and a shared car park.

The previous owner decided to sell the hotel due to retirement having owned it since 2017.

Tony Spence and Brian Sheldon from Christie & Co’s hospitality team, who managed the sale process, commented, “The sale of the Roy Bridge Hotel demonstrates continued demand for quality hospitality businesses across the Scottish Highlands.

“The hotel combines strong trading fundamentals with an iconic location close to Fort William, Ben Nevis and the Nevis Range, making it a highly attractive acquisition. We are pleased to have secured a successful outcome for our client and look forward to seeing the business continue to prosper under its new ownership.”

The Roy Bridge Hotel was sold to a private investor at an undisclosed sum.
