Hotel and event venue in Stockport sold
Specialist business property adviser Christie & Co has announced the sale of Alma Lodge Hotel in Stockport, Greater Manchester.

Alma Lodge Hotel is a 52-bedroom hotel situated on Buxton Road, around eight miles from Manchester city centre. The hotel is home to Henderson’s restaurant as well as extensive function and event facilities, including five meeting rooms with a maximum capacity of 250, and regularly hosts weddings and private gatherings.
Following a confidential sales process with Tom O’Malley, Associate Director at Christie & Co, Alma Lodge Hotel has been acquired by Corner Stone MCR Property Group, which has an expanding property development and investment presence across the UK.
The group’s CEO and founder, Choudry Abdul Karim, is an experienced and respected entrepreneur whose portfolio spans residential and commercial property across the North West of England and South East Asia. He is joined by son Faisal Karim, Director, representing the next generation of the business, alongside fellow Director, Muhammad Imran.
The Corner Stone Group has built a diverse portfolio over several years, operating across residential and commercial development, long-term property investment, petroleum businesses throughout the UK, and nursery operations.
