This 66-bedroom care home development benefits from en suite wet rooms with all bedrooms, a café, cinema, hair and nail salon and a range of lounge and dining rooms. A balcony terrace provides open views of the surrounding scenery and the secure landscaped gardens which surround the care home. It also provides communal areas for residents with all-weather paths, trees, and new planting to encourage birds and wildlife.

This state-of-the-art care home, which has sold to a national care operator, will be situated in an attractive roadside location less than 300 metres from the Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital in Margate, Kent.

Michael Lucas, Founder and Managing Director at Aspire LPP, comments, “Aspire LPP is delighted to have delivered this Margate care home development which represents one in our well-advanced pipeline of care home developments in 2022 and beyond. We are proud to play a significant role in providing a best-in-class new care home to the Margate community. Aspire LPP is again demonstrating its ability to work at local level with the community and key local stakeholders to achieve a successful planning outcome in the care sector.”

Jordan Rundle, Director in the Care Development and Investment team at Christie & Co, who handled the sale, comments, “Margate is a densely populated area of the Kent coastline, with a high proportion of elderly residents over 75-years-old and there is forecast to be a significant undersupply of high-quality market standard beds in the catchment by 2026. Aspire LPP has identified the considerable need for a best-in-class care home in this location and the development will be well positioned to serve the needs of the local community.”
