Group of four unique Surrey & Hampshire day nurseries sold to Bright Stars
Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co, has announced the sale of a group of four day nursery settings across Surrey and Hampshire, trading as Barnkids Nurseries.

Barnkids Nurseries is a small, independently-owned group of nurseries that use nature to inspire great things within the settings and beyond. The group comprises four settings - Barnkids and Fairlands Day Nursery - which utilise forest school and outdoor learning to make the most of their rural locations – and Puddleducks Day Nursery and The Friendly Fish Day Nursery & Beach School - which have made the most of their seaside locations through their beach schools. Together, the settings can accommodate up to 264 children between the ages of three months and five years.
Barnkids Nurseries’ former owners, Laura and Darragh Jones, have a unique eye for opportunities and, despite acquiring all four nurseries separately, they managed to transform them into a group of highly profitable nurseries with quality childcare at their core. The pair recently decided to sell to allow them to pursue new business ventures.
All four settings have now been purchased by Bright Stars Education, bringing the group to 109 settings across the UK.

Barnkids Nurseries was sold for an undisclosed price.
