Experienced retailer takes on convenience store in Portsmouth
Specialist business property adviser Christie & Co has announced the leasehold sale of Best One on Fratton Road, a 24-hour licensed convenience store in Portsmouth.

The well-established high street store had been operated by Mr Jeevanayagam Sebastiampillai for 20 years, who decided to sell to allow them to retire and hand over the reins to a new operator.
The store has been acquired by Mr Navarathnam Perinpanayaciam, a multiple operator who owns other stores in the Portsmouth area.
The leasehold sale process was managed by James Matson, Associate Director at Christie & Co, who said, “We are delighted to have assisted in the sale of this store. The sale was quickly agreed to a known local operator with an excellent reputation, and I would like to wish our client a very happy retirement and Navarathnam the best of luck with the shop. I have no doubt he will continue the excellent service provided to local community.”
