Established by Angie Gaubert in 2005, Brick by Brick Pre-School is an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ rated setting, which provides sessional childcare and early years education for children aged two to five years. The pre-school has a capacity for up to 40 children and has built a strong reputation within the local community for its nurturing approach and commitment to high-quality care.
Brick by Brick Pre-School operates from Beckenham Rugby Football Club, which offers bright, modern indoor spaces, secure outdoor play areas, and access to wider playing fields, enabling a diverse and engaging learning experience for children.
Located on Balmoral Avenue in Beckenham, South East London, the setting is well-placed within its local community and is a stone’s throw from South Norwood Country Park.
After 21 years of ownership, the business was brought to market to allow the former owner, Angie Gaubert, to retire.
Following a sales process with Sophie Willcox at Christie & Co, Brick by Brick Pre-School has been acquired by first-time buyers, a husband-and-wife duo, Sajid Mehmood and Aroma Naz. They were attracted to the setting’s excellent reputation and strong foundations, and plan to build on its success by continuing to deliver high-quality childcare to families in the Beckenham area.

Brick by Brick Pre-School was sold for an undisclosed price.
