Located in the centre of the village, the successful convenience store had been operated by the former owner for over 20 years, serving the local community. The store has been sold as the owner wishes to retire from the sector, with Christie & Co engaged to manage the transaction.
The store has been sold to a new owner who brings with them a wealth of retail experience, already operating multiple convenience stores across the South East. They plan to invest in the business and introduce new stock and product lines.
James Matson, Associate Director at Christie & Co, managed the sale process and commented, “It was a privilege to be asked by the owner to manage this transaction process through to completion. The process was not without its difficulties, but all parties worked together to keep the deal moving in the right direction. I wish the new owners every success with the business, and I have no doubt that they will continue the excellent service provided by the previous owner to serve the local community.”
The store was sold at an undisclosed price.
