68-bedroom care home to be built in Burgess Hill following recent sale

The site extends to 1.57 acres and is located to the south of Kingsway in the popular West Sussex town of Burgess Hill. The proposed scheme comprises a 68-bed care home over three-storey accommodation, with an anticipated GIA of 60.4 sqm per resident.
The planned home will be surrounded by landscaped gardens which include a range of seating and patio spaces, woodland and wildflower planting, and a kitchen garden. Balcony and terraces will provide extensive views over the gardens from the proposed care home, and the existing mature trees and wooded area will provide an interesting, natural screening for the home.
Following a confidential sales process with Christie & Co, the site has been purchased by family-run care provider, Boutique Care, which also has three exceptional care homes in Newmarket, Shepperton, and Broadstairs.
