Christie & Co announce the Dilkhusa Grand Hotel in Devon has been sold to Compass Hospitality Group
On behalf of Coast & Country Hotels, specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co has completed on the sale of Dilkhusa Grand Hotel in Ilfracombe, Devon. The hotel will now become part of the Compass Hospitality managed portfolio.
Originally a private house, the 101-bedroom hotel was given the name “Dilkhusa,” meaning “House of the Happy Heart” in Hindi, by a Maharaja who purchased the building as a gift for his wife. The property is located on the Victorian seafront and many of its rooms feature views towards the Torrs.
