Specialist business property adviser Christie & Co is delighted to announce the expansion of its Lease Advisory team with the appointment of Tom MacCabe and Caitlin Timothy, bringing a wealth of experience and fresh expertise to support clients across the UK.

Tom MacCabe joins Christie & Co as a Director in the Newcastle office following eight years at Star Pubs, where he managed a pub portfolio and specialised in Tied and MRO rent reviews, lease renewals, CAPEX deals, and landlord and tenant matters. His experience spans northern England and Scottish MRO rental assessments. Tom previously held commercial asset management roles at Transport for London and TPT Limited (now Amey TPT), focusing on rent reviews, lease renewals, and landlord and tenant matters across commercial and railway networks.
Caitlin Timothy graduated in Real Estate from Nottingham Trent University in 2022 and spent three years at Avison Young undertaking lease renewals and rent reviews. She qualified as a RICS Chartered Surveyor in May 2025 and joins Christie & Co as a Landlord & Tenant Valuer, based in the Manchester office.
The Lease Advisory team at Christie & Co provides a comprehensive range of services, including rent reviews, lease renewals, lease restructures/re-gear transactions, lease advice and dispute resolution, ensuring clients receive expert advice tailored to their business needs. These services are integral to maintaining fair and sustainable agreements between landlords and tenants across Christie & Co’s specialist sectors, including hospitality, leisure, retail, medical and childcare.
