High-dispensing Staffordshire pharmacy sold to growing Midlands group

Colliery Pharmacy is a standard hours health centre integrated pharmacy that dispenses an average of 16,500 items per month. It is located in the Cannock suburb of Huntington in South Staffordshire.
The pharmacy has been owned by B & H Healthcare Limited for over 10 years and was brought to market by the health centre GPs, who decided to pass the operation to an experienced pharmacy operator.
Following a confidential sales process with Carl Steer at Christie & Co, it has been sold to Harvey Northwood, who operates Northwoods Chemists, a group of seven pharmacies in the West Midlands.

Sellers are enjoying a much-improved market for selling in 2025, and with the advent of the new contract, buyers are keen to secure a pharmacy at greater numbers than perhaps we have seen since 2019.”
Colliery Pharmacy was sold for an undisclosed price.
