Highly regarded Warrington day nursery joins the Tiddlywinks family

Established in 1996, Cottontails Day Nursery is a successful 74-place children’s day nursery. It occupies a beautifully converted two-storey former church school, which boasts character and charm, and provides a warm and inspiring environment for early years care. It is ideally located in the heart of Burtonwood, a desirable village in Warrington, offering a peaceful yet accessible setting for families.

The nursery has been owned by Harriett Butterworth since 2020, and was brought to market so that she could focus on new business projects.

Following a confidential sales process with Sofia Beck at Christie & Co, it has been purchased by Tiddlywinks Nursery Group, which now has nine settings.

Cottontails Nursery was sold for an undisclosed price.
