Business. Built around You.

Ditchling Pharmacy is a family-run community pharmacy that dispenses an average of 2,600 items per month. It is located on South Street, in the heart of the West Sussex village of Hassocks.
The business has been owned by husband-and-wife team, Victor and Debbie Andrews, for over 25 years and was brought to market to allow them to retire.
Following a confidential sales process with Mark Page at Christie & Co, and with funding sourced through Raj Patel at Christie Finance, the pharmacy has been purchased by husband-and-wife, Kevin and Giauri Patel, who are local first-time buyers. Giauri will work as the Pharmacist.
Victor and Debbie Andrews, former owners of Ditchling Pharmacy, comment, “Having lived in Ditchling for 30 years, it has been a joy and privilege to serve the local community for the past 25 years. We now embark on a new chapter in our lives and would like to wish Kevin and Giauri all the best for the future.”
Mark Page, Director - Pharmacy at Christie & Co, comments, “Demand for pharmacies across the Southeast continues to grow, and the south coast seems to be particularly attractive to buyers. This pharmacy is located in the delightful village of Ditchling, which is close to where Giauri and Kevin live. I wish them the best of luck and also a very happy and well-deserved retirement to Victor and Debbie.”
Raj Patel, Senior Finance Consultant at Christie Finance, comments, “It has been a pleasure to support Giauri and Kevin in securing funding for the acquisition of their first pharmacy, conveniently located close to their hometown. Both are highly experienced Pharmacists and achieving a strong work–life balance was a key priority for them as they continue to raise their school-aged children. This acquisition allows them to progress professionally while maintaining the stability and flexibility their family lives require.”
Ditchling Pharmacy was sold for an undisclosed price.
