South West care home group sold to Welford Healthcare
Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co, has announced the sale of Eastleigh Care Group; a group of three care homes in Devon and Somerset.
Eastleigh Care Group comprises two Devon homes - East Street Residential Home, Raleigh Mead Nursing Home – and one home in Somerset – Minehead Nursing and Residential Home. All homes are of a very high-quality, with excellent reputations, strong trading performances, good occupancy levels, and strong management teams in place.
The well-located properties boast CQC ratings ranging from ‘Good’ to ‘Outstanding’, and benefit from favourable underlying demographics in the local catchment areas with attractive demand/supply fundamentals.
The portfolio was previously owned by Garry Wilson, who decided to sell in order to retire from the sector. It has now been sold to Welford Healthcare, supported by real estate investment trust, Impact Healthcare REIT.
