Family-run bakery in Hythe seeks new owner through Christie & Co
Specialist hotel property adviser, Christie & Co, has brought to market Tilley’s Bakery in Hythe, Southampton.
Tilley’s Bakery has been a thriving family-run business in the centre of the village for the last 35 years. The bakery provides a large range of freshly baked cakes, bread and pasties, and also features a popular sandwich bar, with regular customers visiting daily for their lunch.
The present owner, Joanne Fitzgerald took over the business six years ago and completely refurbished the establishment. She has now made the decision to sell to make more time to spend with family.

The staff are exceptional, they work incredibly hard in a very busy environment and have a great rapport with the customers, but the time has come to pass the business onto someone new as grandmother duties are calling!”
