Trio of day nurseries in Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire join Grandir UK

Originally established 20 years ago, First Place Nurseries is an exceptional children’s day nursery group which is run by an experienced management team. The nurseries are renowned for offering premium childcare and education from three properties, all in visible sought after trading locations in Bushey, Beaconsfield, and Radlett. The three settings provide care for children aged from six months until they transition to school; all enjoy ‘Good’ Ofsted ratings and receive outstanding reviews and feedback on daynurseries.co.uk.

Following a confidential sales process with David Eaves at Christie & Co, three settings have been purchased by Grandir UK, taking the group to 99 nurseries across England.

Having originally been engaged to provide valuation advice several years ago, we subsequently entered into discussions regarding a potential sale of the three nurseries with our clients, in the knowledge that the planned new builds would create significant opportunity for a potential buyer, but also add complexity to the sale process. Having received significant interest in the opportunity when presented to the market, Grandir recognised this future potential and has worked closely with our clients to achieve the right outcome for all parties.
