Footsteps Day Nursery has an effective operating capacity to care for 47 babies and children aged six weeks to 11 years old. The business occupies a former police station from 1907 which has been sympathetically restored and converted to include two floors of nursery accommodation and a significant outdoor play area. It sits on the corner of Station Road and the High Street in the growing South Wales town of Llanbradach, which is a few minutes’ drive from Caerphilly and a short train ride from Cardiff.
The business was previously owned by Mrs Jackie Sebury and Mr Wayne Sebury, who decided to sell in order to enjoy some well-earned retirement.
Footsteps Day Nursery has been purchased by first-time buyer, Lucy Rowles, who comments, “I am delighted to become the new owner of Footsteps Day Nursery and to be able to fulfil my dream of owning a nursery. After 21 years of teaching in a primary school, it was time to take a slightly different direction in life and purchasing Footsteps Day Nursery proved the ideal opportunity for this new adventure.
