Family-run Devon care home sold for the first time in 40 years

Fourways Care Home is situated in the popular seaside town of Sidmouth, overlooking the dramatic coastline which is a much-loved feature among residents. It occupies an attractive period building that has been extended over the years to provide accommodation for up to 21 elderly residents, with all rooms offering en suite facilities. The home is arranged over ground and first floors and is set back from Glen Road by a formal garden and driveway.
The home’s former owners, Stewart and Rachel Evans-White, have decided to retire after operating the home for over two decades. The home has been in the family for almost four decades.
Following a confidential sales process with Simon Harvey at Christie & Co, Fourways Care Home has been sold to Beechcroft Homes Ltd, a family-run business which has acquired the shares in the Limited Company operating the care home, along with the associated domiciliary care agency. This acquisition reflects their commitment to maintaining continuity of both services for clients and the wider Sidmouth community.
