Welsh care operators move into Somerset with purchase of established village home

Holywell Nursing Home is an established care home registered for 30 residents. It occupies an attractive 28-bedroom period property that sits in a prominent position in the Somerset village of Brent Knoll, close to Burnham-on-Sea and Weston-super-Mare.
It has been owned by a sole provider for more than 30 years, during which time she has built an excellent reputation for care and made significant improvements to the overall building. She recently decided to sell to pursue a well-earned retirement.
Following a confidential sales process with Simon Harvey at Christie & Co, the home has been sold to the established operator, Holywell Care Ltd, which owns another care home in South Wales.
The former owner of Holywell Nursing Home comments, “We started as a small business and have built up the home, which has cared for many people. It was time to retire.”
The new owners at Holywell Care Ltd comment, “It has been good to take over a care home running well in a beautiful village.”

Holywell Nursing Home was sold for an undisclosed price.
