Day nursery in North Somerset village gets new owners as couple retire

Inwood Nursery is an Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ day nursery setting with an effective operating capacity for up to 46 children aged from six weeks to five years. The business is located in the rural, picturesque village of Congresbury on the north western slopes of the Mendip Hills in North Somerset.
The business was recently brought to market to allow its owners to retire. Following a confidential sales process with Jassi Sunner and Rachel Godwin from Christie & Co, a new lease has been purchased by local childminder, Estella Wilmott, who is vastly experienced in the sector and has an excellent reputation with the local authority. She plans to bring her existing staff in-house and to immediately improve occupancy by welcoming her childminding children to the nursery.

The buyer and seller met on a number of occasions to discuss the handover process and it was very pleasing to get a good result for all parties on this sale.”
