Two family-run day nurseries in Mitcham sold to highly rated childcare group

Opened in 2012, Kingswood Day Care Nursery provides childcare for up to 67 children aged between three months and five years. Following the success of this first nursery, Kingswood Early Years Nursery opened in 2016, less than a mile away on London Road, as the second nursery within the Kingswood family. The two nurseries have built an excellent reputation within the local community for their child-centred approach, encouraging children to develop their creativity and self-confidence within nurturing environments.

After successfully operating the nurseries for more than a decade, former owner, Ashia Siddik, decided to sell the group to pursue other ventures.

Following a sales process with Sophie Willcox at Christie & Co, the two nurseries have been acquired by the nationwide nursery group, Storal, taking its portfolio to 61 nurseries across the UK.

Kingswood Day Care Nursery and Kingswood Early Years Nursery were sold for an undisclosed price.
