74-place day nursery in Liverpool sold for the first time

Established in 2012, Kristaval Day Care is an well-regarded day nursery setting with an effective operating capacity for 74 children between the ages of nought and five years. The nursery operates from a spacious two-storey converted building and boasts a unique outdoor learning environment, including a variety of play facilities for individual age groups.

Located on Warrenhouse Road in Crosby, a coastal town in Merseyside, the nursery benefits from a prominent position on a busy main road with excellent access to major transport links, making it a convenient choice for local families who need to travel into central Liverpool.

The previous owner, Elizabeth Furlong, who founded the business in 2012, recently decided to sell due to retirement.

Following a confidential sale process managed by Sofia Beck at Christie & Co, the nursery has been acquired by Lion Cubs Nurseries, an expanding childcare operator with seven settings across the North of England. The acquisition forms part of the group's ongoing growth strategy, with several additional transactions currently progressing as it continues to strengthen its presence within the sector.

Kristaval Day Care was sold for an undisclosed price.
