Christie & Co complete the sale of the Lomond Hills Hotel on behalf of liquidators
Specialist hotel property adviser, Christie & Co has successfully completed the sale of the Lomond Hills Hotel on behalf of liquidators.
Located at the foot of the Lomond Hills in Freuchie, near Falkland Palace, the 19th century converted coaching inn has welcomed guests for almost 300 years.
The historic hotel was placed into liquidation and ceased trading earlier in 2023, with all 17 staff made redundant however the business has now been sold to regional developer, Glenshire Group who are looking to make the hotel an important village hub yet again.
The property features 24 well-appointed bedrooms, a popular restaurant and public bar, which was renowned for serving over 52 malt whiskies and two quality real ales, along with two function suites and a leisure centre with a pool, gym, sauna and spa.
