Lossiemouth’s only independent pharmacy sold for the first time

Lossiemouth Pharmacy is a well-established pharmacy which dispenses an average of 4,200 items per month. It is located in Lossiemouth in Morayshire and benefits from being the only independently owned pharmacy in the town.

Since 2002, the business has been owned by John Ross (Chemists) Ltd, and it was recently brought to market to allow the owner to concentrate on his other branches located elsewhere in north Scotland.

Following a confidential sales process with Christie & Co, Lossiemouth Pharmacy has been sold to Right Medicine Pharmacy Ltd, an independent group with over 30 pharmacy branches across Scotland including several in Moray, which plans to grow the business through the addition of more services.

Lossiemouth Pharmacy was sold for an undisclosed price.
