Former bar & nightclub in Newcastle sold

Formerly a popular bar and nightclub, the property attracted strong interest due to its prime location and redevelopment potential.  The venue is situated in a densely populated student and professional district near Manors Metro, Northumbria University, and the Quayside, and has a multi-level layout including a bar, function room, commercial kitchen, and cellar, spanning over 6,300 square feet in total.

Nancy’s Bordello operated as a well-known neighbourhood venue until its closure in early 2019. The site was brought to market with a guide price of £499,000 and quickly drew attention from developers and hospitality operators alike.

While the new owners have yet to announce their plans, the site offers scope for redevelopment into a hospitality venue, student accommodation, or mixed-use commercial space, subject to planning approval.
