New owners for Surrey village nursery setting

Established in 1960, The Grove Nursery is a ‘Good’ rated setting which caters for up to 53 children aged two to four years. It operates from a church hall in the beautiful Surrey village of New Haw.
Following a confidential sales process with Christie & Co, the business has been sold to Coloured Ribbons Childcare which is run by mother and daughter, Gill and Sally Couzens, and operates another childcare setting in Weybridge.
Sophie Willcox, Director – Childcare & Education at Christie & Co, who handled the sale, comments, “There were several interested parties which comprised predominantly local operators and first-time buyers, but the owners felt Coloured Ribbons were the perfect operator to hand over to and were also attracted to the speed at which they could complete the deal. The Grove Nursery was sold for an undisclosed price.
