New restaurant to open in Boston Spa following sale through Christie & Co
Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co has completed the sale of the former CORA restaurant in Boston Spa, West Yorkshire, to local chef, Nikki Pybus. The deal will see the site reopen as a new restaurant called Amor.
Prominently located on the village High Street, the venue is an ideal dining spot for locals and visitors exploring the area, with capacity for up to 20 customers in its modern open plan setting.
The former restaurant was founded by Elizabeth Cottam, the patron chef behind HOME and The Owl in Leeds. She comments, “We are pleased to announce the sale of CORA in Boston Spa. We had a fantastic time there, but the time had come for us to focus on our core restaurants in Leeds and we wish Nikki all the best moving forward. Thank you to all our customers.”
The new owner and chef, Nikki Pybus, comments, “2024 is a special year which will see the opening of our new Restaurant "Amor". My vision is to bring not just Boston Spa, but the North East, a fantastic dining experience with top notch food and wines, all in a fun environment. Our ultimate goal is every guest leaving satisfied with a memory not to forget.
“Providing everything goes to plan I would like to open in late spring/early summer, initially offering a casual yet top class lunch from Wednesday to Sunday. In the coming months we will look to extend our servings to an evening service.”
