21-year-old day nursery group on the East coast of Scotland sold for the first time

Established in 2005, Peek-a-Boo Nursery group comprises three children’s day nurseries strategically located on the east coast of Scotland in Kirkcaldy, Markinch, and Leven. The group offers a total of 132 nursery places, and all settings are in partnership with Fife Council to provide 1,140 hours of government-funded childcare (three to five years). The nurseries work towards the same aim, “To provide a safe, secure, and healthy environment where children are allowed and encouraged to develop at their own pace.”
After over 20 successful years of ownership, the founder, Lynne Kivistik, decided to sell to pursue a well-earned retirement.
Following a confidential sales process with Callum Lancaster at Christie & Co, the three settings have been sold to regional childcare operators and brothers, Saqib and Amir Sadiq of SADCO Nursery Group Ltd, who now own seven settings across Fife and Glasgow. Their growing portfolio is centred on investing in high-quality learning environments, supporting local communities and delivering outstanding early years education.
Lynne Kivistik, the founder of Peek-a-Boo Nursery group, comments, “I started the business in 2005 after buying and converting a beautiful building dated 1915 into my first nursery. I am now retiring after establishing, over the years, a further two nurseries in Fife. I thank Callum Lancaster and Martin Daw for their invaluable support throughout the process, and I wish Amir and Saqib all the best in Peek – a Boo’s new chapter.”

Peek-a-Boo Nursery group was sold for an undisclosed price.
