The sale of the site marks the end of an era for long-standing owner Bill Penman, who now begins a well-earned retirement after many years of dedicated service to the local community, having owned the site for more than 25 years.
Bill commented, “It has been an honour to serve the wonderful community of Mundesley over the years. I would like to thank all our loyal customers and local residents for their support and friendship throughout my time at Crayford & Abbs, it has been a truly rewarding experience.”
The site has been acquired by Johnny Srikrishna, an experienced operator with exciting plans to redevelop the site, continuing its use as a forecourt whilst adding a convenience store offering too. His vision for the site promises to bring fresh energy and enhance services for both residents and visitors.
Bill added, “I am delighted to be handing over to Johnny, whose vision for the site will bring new opportunities and investment to the area. I wish him every success in the future and look forward to seeing the next chapter for Crayford & Abbs unfold.”
Johnny commented, “I would like to thank Mr Penman for selling the site to us, and I am excited to take on this challenge and build upon the established site he leaves behind. We are looking forward to getting started on the redevelopment of the site and bringing back the customer experience the local community deserves. I look forward to meeting our customers soon.
“Thank you to Christie & Co and Lewis Last for the assistance on this acquisition, overseeing a smooth transaction.”
